Other than MLSLI...where to look for houses?
Are there any other good websites that have house listings other than MLSLI?

you can try craigs list
eta: you can also check out realtor's own websites..if they have exclusive listings, it will be on their website and not on MLS.

When we looked we basically only used MLSLI. There are so many real estate sites out there that have houses, and they will post the same listings on MLSLI. We also browsed the papers a lot and if we found something we were interested in we would search that real estate's website for it.

Realtor.com, most of the houses don't have pictures of the inside but some either have pictures of tours.

I would just check out popular RE companies. Also when DH and I were looking, Id notice all of the "For Sale" sales and then see if that particular RE Co. had a website and most of them do.
I dont know what area you're looking in or what RE Co. are popular around you. But Id try

Great...thanks. I currently live in NJ and looking to move back to LI, so I have been having my mom scout open-houses on the weekends and check out the newspaper for us.

I have used Realtor.com. BUT I think that a lot of the houses are the same as the ones on MLSLI
