Where to research Nassau or Western Suffolk School districts?
What are good websites to find out about SD's? I know very little about LI (except where to shop! ) and need some help on research.
We are probably going to start seriously looking for homes in Nassau/Western Sufolk in the spring.
TIA Christine

The NYS report cards are really the best, but you have to know what you are looking for. For us, it was graduation rate, % who go onto 4 year college, elementary class size and the mastery rate on most Regents exams (% who score over 85)
This wiped out Oyster Bay for us, which we loved. But Jericho, Syosset, Locust Valley, Cold Spring Harbor, Half Hallow Hills, Harborfields, and Northport all fit in well. We didn't look at SE Nassau or SW Suffolk, so I don't know those areas.
