baby is kicking but...

it hurts at times. I think this is all kicking but then again I am unsure if its cramps which would make me nervous. I am 18 weeks would it be too early for it to actually hurt?

Well mention it to your doc. I have/had less fat on my body since I walk a lot. I don't mean skinny, bean pole, I mean I was in great shape with little fat and mostly muscle and with my son and my daughter (pregnant now) and it really hurts majority of the time when they moved. You also tend to feel them earlier if you are skinnier. So if you are small or skinny maybe you like me. I have no complications in my pregnancies or birth so far.

Don't know if this is anything but my son he was 9lbs 5ozs so it might be because he was big (for me).

I'm a dance teacher, so I consider myself to be in pretty good shape- and none of my kicks have been painful (I'm 24 weeks.) In fact I posted the other day asking when they do become more of a pain, and it isn't until later. I would definitelt mention it to your Dr.
