Wierd question- how do you know if everything is all right
I know this is a wierd question, but it is something I am definitely concerned about. I about 9 weeks today. I have had a doctors appointment 3 weeks ago, but no sonogram. I have another apointment on 9/26 when I will have a sonogram. This is my first pregnancy and I am not havign too many side affects- although my appetite has definitely changed, and I feel some fluttering in my stomach. But how do I know everything is OK and progressing normally? I guess I don't. I could take another pregnancy test, but other than that, does anyone have any suggestions on how I can ease my concerns? Thanks!

Honestly....if you aren't having any major cramps or bleeding then it's safe to assume that everything is OK. I know it's hard but there's not much you can do.
I remember feeling like you did. I didn't have any morning sickness so there wasn't anything to make me 'feel' pg. I kept taking HPT (must have taken least 6 or 7) to make sure I was still pg between my first visit at 7 weeks and my second at 12 weeks when we heard the heart beat.

I didn't have any symptoms either - I just hoped and had faith that everything would be okay - and it was....
As long as you don't have bleeding and heavy cramping - i wouldn't worry
Keep eating healthy, resting and drinking lots of fluids - your appointment will be here soon

When you're that early in the PG and don't feel any movement, I know it's very scary...but, there's nothing to worry about...everything in there is fine. You'll see...

I felt the same way... I actually went for a sonogram at 9 weeks (after I had already had one at 7) b/c I felt NO different whatsoever. Everything was fine... but try to relax b/c the stress doesn't help!

Re: Wierd question- how do you know if everything is all right
I totally understand how you feel.. I was NUTS at the begining of my pregnancy... I was always worried something was wrong... before every DR.'s apt I would cry...I was a mess..
The craziness subsided when I heard the heartbeat...and then I rented my own doppler...I listened everynight until I started to feel the baby move on a reg. basis...
It was the only thing that got me by....

Re: Wierd question- how do you know if everything is all right
I felt silly, but I took a pregnancy test- and its still positive. So I am a little more assured. I am going to see my best friend from college this weekend and I am going to tell her (I haven't told anyone but my immediate family, DH's immediate family and my gym trainer) and I just wanted to make sure everything was OK before I told her. Next Monday I will have my sonogram- and then I will feel a LOT better. Thanks for your support. Its nice to know I'm not alone.

Where did you rent the doppler from? I really want to do this.
For me, the worse I feel (morning sickness, dizzy, sore boobs), the more I'm reassured that everything is OK with the baby.
