New boiler cost
We are having a horrible time with our contractor right now. We added a second floor onto the house with hot water heat, but left the first floor as steam heat.
They now tell us our boiler does not support the coil modification to support both heating types and we need a new boiler........I dont trust them at all or their prices. So I need to know, how much is a boiler and the labor and does anyone know a good company to use?

We got a new heating unit installed in August. (IT's in the house we are selling). Meenan put it in and it was $3,000 I think (?). Depends upon the size of your house.
We went with Meenan because of the zero percentage financing for twelve months.
