BRU V Buy Buy Baby
Hi Moms,
Okay I am 4 weeks from my due date and basically have to buy everything - not having a shower....
Planning on going shopping this sunday to get the basics...I have an idea what I need but wondered if you could advise as to whether I will have more luck getting everything I need at BRU or BBB.
I live out east so the nearest BRU is Commack or Sayville and BBB is huntington station...any experiences with any of these stores?
TIA

I posted this the other day but you should go to toys r us in Commack first, they have a lot of what you need 10% off everything. It is right by bru.

Re: BRU V Buy Buy Baby
We bought our furniture from BBB but we registered at BRU. Personally I think BRU prices are better and so is their retun policy.
You might also want to check other stores that have a baby section (even if its a smaller selecetion), like Sears, Walmart, Toys r Us and Target. They all have stuff in store and not just online.
Good luck with picking everything out!

Re: BRU V Buy Buy Baby
I'm biased, since I never went to BBB, but I absolutely love BRU. I actually ordered my baby furniture off of Ebay of all places and the prices were not only amazing, but the quality of the furniture is incredible. Only problem was we had to assemble it ourselves, but it was surprisingly easy.

I agree, I've picked up basics like t-shirts, socks, towels, etc. at Target and Walmart and they've been great. They both have lines put out by Carters but are a little cheaper than BRU. I've also picked up clothes at Target, JC Penney and Sears for very cheap. They seem to put baby stuff on the clearance rack fast and since they grow so fast in the beginning, she wasn't in them long so they didn't need to be able to be washed 10,000 times like they will when they are toddlers and not growing as fast.
H&M is also good for cute clothes at very reasonable prices.

Re: BRU V Buy Buy Baby
Thank you for the replies...
Thanks for the heads up on TOys R US in Commack. I will definitely pop in there...think I will try BRU this weekend as it seems to be most popular and see how I do......now I just hope this baby stays put for the next 4 weeks until its mom gets herself organised!!
Thank you all so much.
