Good gift for twin girls first birthday
I'm stumped. I don't know if I should go with clothes or money.
TIA

I would give money, savings bond, or a few shares of stock.

Re: Good gift for twin girls first birthday
I normally give savings bonds and a little something for the child to play with now. However I love the idea of giving stocks!

Here is the site. If you look to the right where it says select stock you can scroll down and they have a bunch of different companies to buy from!!

Maybe you should go with alternative energy sources?

Re: Good gift for twin girls first birthday
If you are going to buy stock, may I suggest that you consistently buy stock in the same company. I had a relative who bought us one share of stock in a few different companies and over the years, it actually ended up being a big PIA. After buyouts and mergers, I was not able to transfer or cash in more than one share because we lost track of the certificates after my dad died.
I would go with a savings bond, if you are looking for an investment type gift.
