Random cooking question - can I heat up frozen sauce?
I have red sauce in the freezer and it is frozen. Does it have to be thawed before I heat it up or can I put it frozen in a pan on low to cook it?

You can put it into a pot on low and cook it

My mother does this and it's fine ... you just have to watch it and stir A LOT!
Or you can nuke it to defrost most of it (get rid of the one big ice block), then put it into a pot on the stove.
