Refusing the bottle

Well, its a saga now.

Righty ho, so this is the latest thing. We have been doing the bath, bottle, bed routine since Noah was about 10 weeks old and the kid never refuses his last bottle...usually its the only bottle that he drains, and he usually falls asleep on that bottle. But for the last 3 nights he has been refusing his last bottle and just falling asleep in my arms, or while I am jiggling him. Has anyone else had this happen? I think its probably because he gets his dinner (veggies and fruit) at around 5.45, 6 pm and we put him to bed at around 7.30ish...

Do you think it could be because he is on solids now? When I woke him up this morning and changed his nappy, it was pretty dry...so he didn't pee much in the night....

thanky you in advancez vous

Re: Refusing the bottle

it happens...and just when you think he dropped it, he'll start wanting it again...he'll let you know when/if he really wants it.

It's like a fun little trivia game, right?

Well, I always say, the only constant with a baby is change. Then my husband always says...ooh you are so profound then I say to him go sit and spin and he says to me, no you go sit and spin....I am sure you can imagine the scene.

One other thing is that I think he is sleeping through the night without wanting this bottle...I know when he does awake at night I always offer him the bottle...but he seems to be sleeping through at the moment.

We have had to up Miranda's nipples from level 2 to level 3. The same thing happened when we needed to up her from level 1 to level 2.

I'll be he'll want that bottle back in no time. Miranda has gone through plenty of bottle strikes and just when I'm starting to get worried she ***** them dry again. Chat Icon
