winter storm warning is in effect
...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THURSDAY TO MIDNIGHT EST THURSDAY NIGHT...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN UPTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THURSDAY TO MIDNIGHT EST THURSDAY NIGHT. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
SNOW...MIXED WITH SOME SLEET AT THE ONSET...WILL BEGIN THURSDAY MORNING AND CONTINUE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON...BEFORE ENDING THURSDAY NIGHT. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS FORECAST TO FALL IN THE AFTERNOON. AT THIS TIME...TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM 5 TO 7 INCHES ACROSS THE WARNING AREA.
A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS OR IMPOSSIBLE
OH NO!!! the commute home will be horrilbe!

Cr@p! I was hoping it would be tonight into tomorrow morning so that i would at least have a delayed opening. Now I'll be at work and have to drive home from Westchester.

I am not wanting to go into work if i have to do a 5 hour drive home

Loving Cali too! But we have a winter storm warning in effect too!  Its all over the news- its going to, oh my gosh, rain. 
LA weather people get really bored-

I live in Westchester and most of the schools are closed. I personally think they should have done an early dismissal. Most schools have already used their allotted snow days and are now losing days from April break.
