Need advice....sooooooo nervous
DH and I both feel like we're getting sick. Congested, sniffles, sore throat. My little guy is only 5 days old. I'm breast feeding and bottle feeding. Can I take anything and how do we avoid getting him sick????? And if he does catch it....what do we do?

I'm not sure about taking medicine while BF, but I think it's good that you are BF. Until you can talk to your doctor, just make sure you guys wash your hands before touching him. All drink lots of fluids, may be some OJ for vitamin C.

I don't think you can take anything if you are breastfeeing but you're DR can confirm this. Just make sure you wash your hands often.

Keep on breastfeeding -- baby will get your antibodies and thats the best medicine he can take!
