Round Ligament Pain
First...I got the okay to go home and everything seemed fine, but I went to the ER today (well the labor and delivery) because the last 2 days I've been having such bad pains on my right front side that I can barely walk or stand up. They monitored me to make sure I wasn't having contractions, did an internal ultrasound to make sure my cervix was closed and then an internal, which you usually get late in your pregnancy  and everything seemed fine and they summed it up to round ligament pains. Did you guys get them that bad? I am so thankful everything is okay but OUCH it hurts pretty bad! Just wanted to make sure it was normal and I'm not just a big baby!

I started getting them about 2 weeks ago. They decided to start back up this morning. Yes, OUCH! Stretching slightly away from the pain helps but everyone really advises drinking lots and lots of water. Of course that means also having to pee a lot and it hurts to walk to go to the bathroom!

Where is this pain generally located? Is it on your side, like where your belly meets your hip? I have been getting really bad pains there and the Dr. said that if it gets worse to call him. I was getting them on my left side but today I am getting them on my right. It's hard to breath because it hurts so much. And, if I touch it, it feels like it's bruised.
I am almost 23 weeks.

That's exactly how it feels. It is much better today but it was VERY painful the two days before today. It was more like a pulled muscle/stabbing pain, rather than cramping if that makes any sense.
