Strange question for you all
I recently saw an episode of Dr. 90210 where an overweight woman lost a ton of weight and had a lot of extra skin and it got me wondering...
When you are pregnant your stomachs are stretching so much - after you have the baby are you left with extra skin like this? Does it go away?
Sorry for what must seem to most of you to be a ridiculous question!

Re: Strange question for you all
I can only speak from my experience. I'm pregnant now with twins so I'll let you know after they are here! Otherwise with my son, my tummy went right back to being flat. (well, not right back but it did eventually get back to normal.)

Re: Strange question for you all
Within three weeks of giving birth I was less than 5 lbs from my pre-preggo weight but my tummy was a mushy mess (my stomach is normally pretty flat) and reminded me of what you described on tv - maybe not as drastic but I felt like it was. In a couple months it wasn't as bad. It kind of just starts to disappear. Little by little. I felt like it started all over my tummy and little by little settled to my lower belly. Now I am still at the same weight from that three weks after birth but my tummy is looking better. Not nearly what it was but getting closer. Still a little mushy towards the lower part - but not too bad considering I haven't tried any exercises to get rid of it. I really should start some crunches and maybe speed things along.
