Cool Ideas for Throwing a 30th Bday Party?
For a Male. In the Fall. Not at home. Something reasonable but different - just looking for ideas.

ETA: Also looking for a Restaurant that will give you a private room for dinner for a small number of people. Thanks! NYC or Nassau County would be best. thank you

What about something in the city... at maybe a lounge or a bar... rent out part of it... do an open bar, have some appetizers.. something like that?

What about having a big bowling bash? You can just do pizzas and beers and pay for everyone to play two rounds of bowling. Then afterwards you can just go to a bar and then people will be on their own for drinks.

FSIL did this for FBIL's 40th birthday. IT was so much fun!
I told FH that I wanted a rollerskating party with the Skateasaurus - I never had one as a kid.

Our friend had her bridal shower there. They do a GREAT job. The place is beautiful and the food is delicious!
They even make their own desserts which were delicious!!!!!

Potter's Pub - they have a seperate room and they have horse racing and a betting window. My cousin threw her DH a party there and everyone had a great time.
