Prenatal vitamins
Has anyone gotten stomach aches while taking these? I've been getting a lot lately and I am wondering if it is from the vitamins.

Re: Prenatal vitamins
Even though the pills say to take them in the morning, the nurse at my Dr.'s office told me to take them right before going to bed. That way if you get a little but of a stomach ache, you'll probably just sleep through it.

Re: Prenatal vitamins
I always take mine with dinner - or if we eat out then a small healthy snack once I am home....and its been fine! Did you try a few brands out?

Re: Prenatal vitamins
They gave me a few to try out and the first one I tried seemed ok. It says to take it on an empty stomach one hour before eating or 2 - 3 hours after eating which I don't understand b/c I thought you should never take vitamins on an empty stomach.

Re: Prenatal vitamins
my dr told me to ignore the instructions about taking it on an empty stomach etc and make sure to eat with it. this has made a big difference for me and many of the girls on here. call your dr and ask if its ok!

Re: Prenatal vitamins
It could be your body needs to adjust to them or maybe they are not agreeing with you and need to try another brand. TRy to take them on a full stomach, I always do with my biggest meal of the day, lunch.
