Shea Stadium
Can anyone please tell me if you are allowed to take food in when going to see a Met game? I am on a diet and want to take my own fruit juice in a Rubbermaid container and some fresh fruit. Is it allowed?

You're allowed to bring your own food. You can't bring in cans or glass bottles. They supposedly take the caps from plastic bottles, although I always manage to bring bottled water in w/o them doing anything. They'll just search your bags on the way in .

It was a great game. The Mets won 6 to 2 but it was cold! They looked in our bags but didn't say a word about the drinks. I was concerned that they check for alcohol.
