Totally Pi$$ed off about this...

I just opened up my hand mixer for the first time since I need to bake that cake for Ron tomorrow.....

and it looks used and the beaters are missing!!!

I've never even used it because I haven't baked anything other then brownies and cookies from a mix since we got married because I just haven't had the time!

And of course it's probably too late to return it since it was purchased about a year and a half ago for my shower!

ETA: Went to target, told them what happened and they exchanged it for me for a new one. Thank goodness I didn't need to get all pissy on them!!

Re: Totally Pi$$ed off about this...

I would try to return it anyway, and if they saud no, you go to another store, you buy it again and you return the old one on the new receipt. I know the guy in the NYT magazine says it's unethical, but too bad.

Re: Totally Pi$$ed off about this...

I was registered at Target...

For now I'll just pull out my stand mixer. NEver used that before and I wasn't planning on it unless I had a LOT of baking to do -- but it'll have to do.

It is so gross. There are splatters of mix on it and stuff and everything. How nasty! Why would they take back a mixer that was missing parts and SO CLEARLY used and then try to re-sell it????

Re: Totally Pi$$ed off about this...

Can you call Target Customer Service for Bridal Registry & tell them that you just moved into a bigger place & got all your stuff from storage & went to use it for the first time. A year and a half isn't that long.

I would just take it to Target saying you got it as a gift and you opened it and saw this. Say exactly what you said on here to them.
