House that a friend from works husband built is for sale
Albertson lower taxes.....
He bought the house that was on the property, knocked it down, and built this house here...From what I can understand the inside is beautiful. They are supposed to be putting inside pics up soon. I know the price is high, but it is Albertson....and what do you expect to pay for a new house. Her husband is a contractor and he flips houses......Nice house Scott

That's low taxes for that price. I'm not sure if I'd buy a house in that price range for Mineola schools though. You can get a similar house for that price in a better district.... taxes are low though. Don't mean to start drama about Mineola schools. I have several colleagues who worked there. Just saying you can spend the same amount of money for a diamond house in a district with more programs and better scores.

I'm not trying to start any drama either....but I have to disagree with you about the schools...I went through the Mineola schools and they have a lot more programs and opportunities than the school I'm currently teaching at - which is considered to be one of the best schools on Long Island.
Their scores might not be as high as other districts....but I dont' agree that high scores means a better school.
