4th Angel

I saw on the "Touched by Cancer" thread that a LOT of us have people affected by this disease. I saw that many of us know survivors too, which is awesome.
I am just begining to get involved with an organization called 4th angel. 4th angel partners up Cancer survivors with those who have recently been diagnosed with the same sort/type of cancer so that the survivor can act as a sort of mentor and supporter, as that person who has been there and done that.
If you feel so inclined/moved by this concept, please pass the information on to the survivors you know.

Thanks for posting this, Deb. I'm going to pass this on to the survivors in my life. I'm sure my mom would love to be involved with something like this.

You're already an angel and an inspiration. I think it's awesome you want to help others.

Do they provide the training for mentors all over the country? Do you have any idea how widespread they are yet?
