what is appropriate for a 4th birthday gift? the party will be at a bouncy house place and is a childrens only party.

DD loves books, puzzles, anything with lipgloss and nail polish (those cute little sets they sell), Melissa & Doug craft kits.

Dress-up clothes and this is the beginning of Barbie-Mania so if you can score a cool Barbie that little girl would be thrilled!

I agree with arts and crafts kits - I would look for something that the child can create, as oppose to just markers.
