4th of july getaway
can someone recommend a "small" trip for my 1 yr anniversary. I will be 5 months preggo and do not want to fly. we will be going july 1-4. I was thinking of ocean city MD. If anyone has any info I would appreciate it. TIA

Sorry I dont have any info on Ocean City MD for you but what about the Poconos. ? It is on a 2 1/2-3 hr drive.

Never been there, I hear it's really nice and relaxing though. DH and I love these types of getaways. Some of our faves are Montauk, Cape May and Block Island (taking the ferry from Montauk)

Last year we went to Philly for the 4th and it was great! We saw a game and fireworks and had a great time.

Ocean City is nice, but may be too much of a party crowd the week of July 4th.
I'll be in Surfside, S.C. that week, and I KNOW how much they party July 4th week!!!
