5 Year Old Escapes From Daycare and Goes To Hooters
It's not funny, but where he ended up made me chuckle. I hope this daycare is punished!
DENTON, Texas -- Denton police say a child was able to walk out of his day-care center without anyone noticing and went on a perilous walk that ended at a Hooter's restaurant.
"The 5-year-old boy reportedly walked out of the Imagination Station day care in the 2300 block of San Jacinto Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said he walked a long way in 100-degree heat crossing at least two busy streets.
He went to a RaceTrac gas station where he stole a soda but no one noticed him there either, according to investigators.
His walk then led to a Hooters restaurant where employees called police.
The child was not hurt and he was released to his father."

Seriously, though. How does a 5yo just wander out without anyone noticing where he is? Do the teachers just look around and say "Well, there's a bunch of kids here... I guess that's everyone..."
There's going to be some serious talkings-to with those teachers...
