he was on the preshow-red carpet thing, talking to John Norris, saying that he was really hoping Britney would do well, that so many people were rooting for her to fail, he really wanted to see her bring it, and do well....it looks like he almost felt bad for her.

im totally with you janine! he was on mtv yesterday promoting his new album and he was very supportive of britney and said he saw her practice/run through before the show and she did great so he was a bit surprised about her actual performance. he's a good guy!

He was on Stern this morning, and gave the same story. He saw the run thru, it was great - so when he saw the real performance he was 'shocked' at it. He said he thinks that she cares too much about what other people think, and thats what is throwing her off her game.
