so sad, final update

Sorry if this is TMI

Yesterday, I had some brown bleeding, only on toilet paper, for a couple of hours. I went into my OB, they checked my urine - which came back negative for blood, she told me that was a good sign, and did a sonogram. We saw a fetal pole, but no heartbeat and I was measuring 6 weeks 1 day. I told her that I think I was farther along than that (i thought about 7-8 weeks), but she told me not to worry yet and that I should not be concerned that it still could be too early. I'm scheduled to go back in on Monday.
Now today, i have more bleeding and it is not just brown, accompanied with cramping Chat Icon I am heartbroken.

Update:
Hello everyone,

So after a few hours of cramping and bleeding yesterday, it subsided. I have had no cramping at all since yesterday but some light spotting today. I went to the ER last night and they gave me IV fluids, did blood work and told me to follow up with my Dr tomorrow (I already had a sono scheduled). So that is all that we know for now. I am pretty sure I have miscarried (due to the stuff I was passing yesterday) but I guess we will find out def tomorrow.
My HCG levels last night (around 2am) in the ER were 5,500. I dont know if that means anything, because I don't know what they were to start with Chat Icon

Re: so sad

Don't get worried just yet Chat Icon Brown blood is just old blood-it is red you have to worry about. If you are measuring 6 weeks 1 day, it is too early to see a HB. Good luck!

Re: so sad

don't lose hope just yet. cramping feeling could be from other changes related to pregnancy...Ie: constipation, gas or just stretching of the uterus. I am Approximately 6w7d (not sure of LMP so could be off a few days) I JUST saw the flutter today. but exactly one week ago today I couldn't even see the embryo...just the sac. I have experienced spotting since the 4th week, sometimes light, sometimes darker...sometimes with a bit of red. I was so worried that todays sono might give me bad news because of the spotting...but it didn't. Keep hope, think positive...and everytime you see that spotting...go lay down and get your feet up and RELAX.

if your bleeding is heavy like a normal period to hemmoraging I'd call the dr. though.

Re: so sad

I was in a similar situation. I got my bfp and was spotting. Sometimes it was rust/brown in color. A few times I woke up and it was bright red blood. I spotted/bled throughout my first trimester. I hung in there and kept fingers crossed and thoughts positive and I'm now 31weeks pregnant. My thoughts are with you! Try and stay optimistic.

I am sorry you are going through this. Please know that a lot of us have been through similar and had healthy pregnancies so there is still hope.
I too had some bleeding and cramping and everything turned out to be ok.

I am so sorry Chat Icon

I had a similar situation in September/October if you need to talk, or just sometime to listen to you.
