My birth story
I am happy to annouce that Julietta Pauline arrived into the world on Thursday, February 18. Labor was an experience. I was induced late Wed night and spent all day Thurs in labor. I even went through 2 hours of pushing but she would not descend so I had to have an emergency C-section. I have to say it was all worth it! She arrived at 8:09pm weighing 8lbs 9oz and was 21 inches long. We came home from the hospital yesterday. She is adorable, and DH and I are totally in love with her. We're adjusting to the coos and cries of a newborn (and the coos are too cute!). I'm sore and don't have the mobility, which is frustrating, but my husband is an amazing parent and picking up all household chores in addition to being the best swaddler ever!
