56th Fighter or Blackhaus Brewery
For Brunch. DH bday is coming up and he wanted to go to brunch. We have already done Bonwit amd Captain Bills so was looking for another place. If you have another suggestion, please let me know. Would prefer to stick to Suffolk and had to be 6yo friendly..

Of the 2 you mentioned I would say definitely Blackhaus. I thought the food at the 56th was adequate and not worth the $$.
But my all time favorite brunch is at Lombardi's on the Sound, followed by Danfords.

I went to 56th figher and I LOVED it !
I really like the atmosphere and service was great!

Not sure about the brunch at Blackhaus but I thought the food for dinner was disgusting. I'd never go back there.

ITA. Except my favorite place for brunch is The View in Oakdale (formerly Riverview).
