5th Annual 5K Run for the Animals - Angel's Gate
This will be our 5th Annual 5K Run for the Animals.
Once again it will be held in beautiful Kings Park on a moderately hilly course. Past races have been well attended.
This year our 5K Run Committee is run by coordinator Sara Rubinson who is ably assisted by Kimberly Serino.
Angel's Gate Run for the Animals:
5K Run to help raise money for critically and terminally ill animals.
Date: July 12, 2008
Time: 9:00 am Main Race
Distance: 5K
Where: William T. Rodgers Middle School, Old Dock Road in Kings Park
Check In/Start Area: Numbers and T-shirts will be picked up the morning of the race, between 7:00 am and 8:45 am.
Directions: Sunken Meadow Parkway North (exit 53 on LIE) to Exit SM 4 E Pulaski Rd. which becomes Old Dock Road after crossing 25A (Main Street); take 1 mile to William T. Rodgers School.
Price Information:
Pre-registered (received by July 3rd) Adults: $15, Children up to age 15: $10, Late Registration up to race day $5 additional.

Awards: Overall Women and Men Runners, first 3 place finishers in Men’s and Women’s age groups, and Fun Runners.
