5th birthday party help
DD will be turning 5 the beginning of January. My house is not big enough to host the party so I am looking for places to have it. I am trying to keep the cost as low as possible b/c we are going away end of January. I cant have it at a girly place since we do have lots of boys to invite. She has already had a party at wood kingdom and at mcdonalds. Ideas please! We live in Nassau but are willing to travel a bit.

Re: 5th birthday party help
Karate places are VERY inexpensive. You don't have to join to have it there either.
We had J's birthday at the Vanderbilt Planeterium. It was fairly inexpensive also.

Re: 5th birthday party help
NYSC also does kids parties. I was thinking of doing DD's there this year and may still do it there next year. I don't remember rates, but I remember them being reasonable.
They have a few different options for the party.

Re: 5th birthday party help
My DD just had a classmates' birthday party at one of those indoor sports complexes. The kids had a BLAST!! Soccer, basketball, flag football...boys and girls all together having a great time running and playing. For food the parents did pizza and then cake, cookies and brownies for dessert. And no mess to clean up afterwards is the best part of it all.....

United Skates
How about a pizza party at a pizza place, maybe they would let the kids make or top their own pizza's and you could plan some kind of craft for the kids.

Re: 5th birthday party help
Hey Erica, I was going to say bowling as well. We've been to a few and they were great. What about asking your day care if they do parties?
