6 week post partum pap smear
I just had mine done today and the pain was terrible. It was my second c-section and i never had such a painful pap. Has anyone else had this??? After my first c-section it was uncomfortable but not painful; this one was beyond belief and took the Dr 2 times.

Me too--mine would have been too close to my last one during PG and would not have been covered by insurance.

Re: 6 week post partum pap smear
I had a pap at my 6 week check also. I'm not sure the reason for it since I had one at my first PG appt. Anyway, I actually found it to be significantly less uncomfortable than normally (I had a v-delivery though-IDK if that makes any difference). I actually thought maybe I was still a little numb from the epi! But I had another pap just recently and it still hurt less than it used to. Did you mention it to your doc while you were there?
