Speaking about radio....who remembers Bob Buchmann on WBAB?
I used to listen to him all the way back in like '80 -- before some of you were even born lol. Old as dirt...

I was his intern for a while.
We graduated from the same college.
He always took the time to explain the business of radio.
But he would commandeer the production studio for his phoney phone calls for hours... morning guy/head of programming pulls rank and I'd have to work really late into the evening finishing production.

Funny, I remember him owning the Jukebox Cafe. I knew a few people from the radio biz on LI and I met him ages ago. Now I feel old.

My husband used to bartend at the Jukebox Cafe. That's actually where I met him and where we got engaged lol. He was pretty good friends with Bob when he worked there -- he came to our wedding.
