How long would you wait at a hair salon before leaving?

If you had an apt, how long after the apt would you wait before walking out?

I dont think you should wait more then 15 mins. i left my old place because i felt like i did more waiting then anything. I would go gt a color, cut and blow out and i swear it took 3 hours.

id say 45... cause stuff happens... people run late... the only time id leave earlier is if i had something else i had to do

I would wait 30 minutes, but I would be annoyed after 10-15 minutes. The only reason to be running later than that is really because of poor scheduling.

This used to happen all the time. I would wait 20+ minutes after my appointment time to get waxed. I only kept going there because the waxer was great at Brazilians. They had the appointments in 15 minute increments. My waxing (brazilian and eyebrows) would take 7-10 minutes, so there was already a built in buffer. It did not matter what time of day the appointment was - I always had to wait, even if I was one of the first appointments.

The thing that bothered me the most was that I would see the waxer walking around the salon - gossiping with stylists, drinking coffee. I understand everyone needs a break, but when you have clients waiting at least go into a break room.

I agree with the above poster I also left my old salon because all i did was wait! He cut my hair amazing but I always had to wait because he woke up late or something else stupid!

I think 30 minutes would be my limit. My salon is expensive! They could call if my stylist is running behind.

At my place I hardly ever wait!!

I think how long I would wait would depend on what my plans are for the rest of the day and how badly I want the haircut. I'd probably at least wait 30 mins...... but I'd def say something!

(this is assuming you have an appt... which I always do)

I always give people the benefit of the doubt and feel that everyone has bad days or days that they are running behind for whatever reason, but when it is a consistent occurence and they always leave me waiting then eventually I just go somewhere else. I left a nail technician because she was ALWAYS running so late like 30-45 min late every time, I waited once for an hour for an eyebrow wax by her too only because I needed it desperately, but eventually I found someone who does them just as good and honors the appointment time and never leaves anyone waiting.

I've never waited longer than 10 minutes (IF that) at the hair salon...I voted for 30 min though

I have waited over an hour because it was someone who would have bene tough to get another appointment with. I do not think I would do that anymore. I guess I am over him .

i usually dont wait too long (maybe 10-15 minutes), but i'd wait no longer than 30 minutes.

I have waited 30 minutes at my hair place, but it was only once and my haircutter was soooo apologetic.

I'd wait a long time if I didn't have to be anywhere, but I wouldn't go back to any place that made me wait more than 30 minutes.

I put 30 min as my limit.. but it would depend if the salon or hairstylist came out and told me beforehand that they were running late, or if i was just left sitting there for 30 minutes

i hate not being told what's going on. If you're running late and need some extra time, totally fine as long as you tell me!

i would wait 2 Freakin HOURS for my eyebrows at roosevelt field. i hate it!!!

i forced myself to go somewhere local. i just drove n found a spot that looked nice. and now im in loveeeeeeeee


i dont think anyone is worth waiting an hour for unless its a doctor

I left my old place because of this and because of the fact I had to beg someone to rinse the color out of my hair. Glad I made the move

I would get really annoyed if I was still waiting and it was 20 minutes passed my appointment...I'd wait the 30 minutes and then split!
