Ice Skating was a big success...(pics)
He want's to play Ice Hockey but of course needs to learn how to skate first
I took him for a trial with my cousin who teaches Ice Skating and he LOVED it!! He has never loved something so much
He didn't want to get off the ice. We went to find him skates after the lesson and he wanted to go right back. He even had me tell the lady at McDonald's drive thru that he was just ice skating
He is going to do lessons every week and then when he is comfortable, move him on to the Tot Hockey
I am so happy for him!

Thanks:) He is 4 1/2. I should have started him sooner but I never thought they even started that early. My cousin teaches some kids that are 19 months old

That's great! My DH would love to get my son on skates. I'm not ready for that though! (My DS is only 1 1/2 yo).

That's awesome!! My nephew is 10 and is on a Junior National Hockey team up in MA. They just competed in Lake Placid.. Lot's of time commitment for parents, but worth it.
My kids have been on skates and skating since they were 2. You'll be surprised at how quickly they pick it up and are off skating on their own.
