7-8 year olds with "acne"?

My daughter is almost 8. She has some very tiny bumps on her nose that looks kinda like acne but I don't think it is. Anyone else's kids have something like this? how did you treat it? A couple of times i had her use a little bit of my St. Ives oatmeal wash/scrub and that seemed to help a little but it hasn't gone away.

My DD started getting that occasionally around the same age. We use the salicylic pads to clean the area and then I dab a little bit of benzoyl peroxide gel (Clean & Clear's Persa-Gel) on the spots /area with a cotton swab. We don't do this all the time, only when we start to notice the little "pimples".

At this age, we don't use a face wash or anything like that either, just warm water.

What type of soap does she use to wash her face? I swear by Cetaphil

Also, a gentle exfoliator once or twice a week will probably help

Yea on her nose i just make sure she cleans it with warm water. I was going to get her a mild soap next.

DD is 8 and she gets those bumps on her nose too. She's had a few blackheads also. We use cetaphil to wash her face and every so often we do a steam facial and a biore strip.

I started using cetaphil face wipes on my kids, I would give those a try

DD is almost 10 and I am noticing little bumps around her nose (almost like black heads) and was contemplating buying her some acne cleansing pads....
