7 days late? semi update

UPDATE 5/25:
So, I couldn't take it anymore! I work at a hospital, had one of the nurses do a BETA test to see if I am.... Results to follow shortly...

I need some help!!!!

I came off of BCP 2 months ago. Last month, AF came right on time. This month, I am almost 7 days late. I tested when i was 4 days late and got a negative.......

What could this be? Even before BCP, I have always been on time. Help!

When I came off the pill everything was normal (28-30CDs) for about 4 cycles. Then all of the sudden I started getting 41 days and its been that way for the last 9 cycles with the exception of one month that it was 34 days.

So either you are pregnant or your body is still adjusting. I would wait another week and then call your doctor.

edited to add....i was on the pill for 10 years...and the pill masks any problems that I would have been having if i weren't on them. As you get older your body goes through changes so my cycle is not like it was when I was 18.

Thank you, i'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I took another test yesterday, still negative. I think I'm going to give it another week and call the doc.
