Same here. It was for DS mattress. I was able to get over $100 off of the sale price by just asking if it was the best price available.

I tried at Bob's but they wouldn't.
Totally negotiate at Ashley! We walked in with something from the internet that was a LOT less than what they were selling it for. Although the wouldn't exactly match it they came down a lot. They also can bring down the price on the warranty as well. We just bought a futon from Ashley and almost walked out....we stood firm, named a price that we wanted to pay for the item, shipping and the warranty, and they basically gave it to us for that price.

i never even thought to negotiate furniture prices  has anyone successfully negotiated at bassett or thomasville? that's where we will be purchasing our dining room set from in a couple of weeks.
