70th Birthday Party Locations in Suffolk
Hi! We're looking to have a surprise 70th birthday party for my MIL on Long Island. She lives in Commack, so a place in Suffolk would be good. Approx 30 people/6 kids and considering a lunch to keep the price affordable. Italian or American food preferred. Any suggestions? Contacts?

I have to tell you, I just went for the first time to La travola in Sayville, italian restaurant.
I was aggravated I didn't go before I had to book a party.
The place is sooo pretty! the mixed drinks n pasta dish was spectacular and all the employees rocked!
def go check it out. It's on Main street and was just voted like top ten restaurants or top ten something in zagat or newsday.
Fyi--they also serve brunch which I bet is awesome!

You also can't beat J&R's Steakhouse; reasonable & yummy food & there are a number of locations.

We had my dad's 70th dinner party at Irish Coffee Pub in Islip. The food and service were fantastic.

John Harvards has a room that would hold that.
There is also an italian place in Smithtown that holds about 50
Giorgios on Smithtown Blvd....food is very good

Check out Spuntino in Dix Hills. I think they just added a room for catering. I hear it's fantastic there.
