**75-day Challenge: Countdown to Memorial Day!!!**

That's right- only 75 days until the unofficial start of summer! Yikes!
As of Monday, I'm starting...starting to get my butt in gear and lose this baby weight!! I have a lot of work to do...ideally, I'd like to lose 60 lbs overall but most importantly, I have to change all of my terrible eating habits and start working out! What better time than now- before the bathing suits, shorts and tank tops come out!
Is anyone else in?? This is the most initiative I've ever taken and I need support...and a few people to join me! Chat Icon
Let's just list what our goal is & what our workout/diet routine is going to be.
I'll start:

Goal: to lose 60 lbs but in 75 days, I think 20-25 lbs is realistic

Diet: I'm doing WW online but I'm going to also focus on eating less carbs

Exercise: C25K and various workout DVDs such as Jillian Michaels and Billy Blanks Tae-Bo. I'm hoping to workout 5-6 days a week.

We can weigh in once a week and I'll update this post. I'm starting on Monday but feel free to jump in whenever.

I'm am 10000% ready for this...and I need to do it!!

I'm willing to join you. Ive been doing ww for the past 2,months & keep fluctuating -2, +2 so really nothing has been lost. Looking in the mirror disgusts me. I need to lose at these 25 lbs. That's the baby weight remaining after 2 Koran. I do a zumba class one day a week now & daily walks pushing a combined weight of 60+ lbs in a stroller. Otherwise, I'm young to try to up mug workouts on the treadmill.

I have 10-15lbs to lose

I want to lose 10- and see where I am at- I basically want my stomach flat- but to keep as much a$$ as possible

I am down about 5 now- I need to get my mind right- I have the exercising down but my eating is not where it needs to be

I am going to try something new this week....allow myself a cheat day on sunday- including sugary things I shouldn't eat (I am diabetic- but type 1 so I can adjust my insulin to eat what I want)

the forbiding everything bad is just not working- and making me cheat and waste taking extra insulin to eat crap

I would rather allow myself to cheat and eat something really good then just shot up meds b/c someone brought crappy cookies to the office

I need to plan the cheat and make it worth it- using it as a reward for doing well all week- hopefully this will work to correct my eating habits

I'm in. I still need to lose 10 - 15 pounds. I already lost 5. I am exercising 5 days a week, mainly cardio right now but I plan on adding some weights. I am watching my calories and trying to make better choices. I amy have to eventually look more detailed at what I am eating but right now it is working for me.

I'm in!

Goal: I initially had a goal of losing 30 pounds by my birthday (mid April), and I failed miserably ... only losing 2 since January. I really want to lose like 50-60 lbs though.

Diet Regimen: I'm following WW, and trying to incorporate all the great advice from the lovely LIF girls!

Workout: 1 hour kickboxing class 4-5 days per week, bootcamp class 1-2 days per week

I'm also having my thyroid checked - I can't understand why I've been doing all thats mentioned above and not be close to hitting my 30lb goal yet!

Hi, I don't not post much but would like to join in and will keep up on this!! I am starting today:

Goal: to lose 25 pounds in 75 days, currently at 169 pounds- I am 5'10" with a medium frame so around 145 to 150 would be my ideal . Also more than anything I just want to feel better and have more energy.

Diet: I am following a diet based on the 60 day body makeover

Exercise: gym, bender ball dvd and brazilian butt lift dvds- plan to work out 5 days a week-already did one bender ball dvd today.

I will report my weigh in each Monday.
Thank you for starting this post I needed the motivation!!

I ate much better today....1 day at a time...I feel much better also- my run was a crappy time- but I did it- that's what counts

and my thryiod isn't really functioning- if I don't lose at least 5 lbs by my next endo appointment- I am begging for meds-

I'm in. I have about 7-10 more lbs to lose. I've lost 19 lbs since December 1st. I started by tracking calories online, and slowly started paying closer attention to my macronutrients too. I work to have my protein higher than my carbs, and to keep my sodium low. I also am using the P90 dvd series - I started with Power 90 in December and am now on week 2 of P90X. I work out 6 days a week. The last pounds are the toughest!!!! It took me 3 weeks to lose 2 lbs after losing 1.5-2 per week for 3 months!

I'm in!!!!!

I've been trying to lose the same 15lbs for 3 years...I don't want to go through ANOTHER summer hating the way I look!

Goal: to lose 20 lbs but in 75 days, but 15lb might be more realistic.

Diet: keeping calories at around 1200 per day. I've been on WW before, so I always have the pts system in my head too. Lots of veggies, salads, protein, grains, and water.

Exercise: Zumba 3x per week, DVDs

Starting on Monday!!!!!!!!

I am in. I lost 5 lbs since starting WW two weeks ago. 9lbs to PP weight and then I would like to lose 13 on top of that. Chat Icon

I'm soo in, I just started this week! I have been feeling like a lump so I needed to start something.

Goal is 20-30lbs

Been trying keep around the 1200 calories a day.
Drinking all my water!!!!

Where I go kickboxing is doing a challenge, loose the most weight in 3 months and win $500!!!!

So I do the class 2 times a week and Im gunna start running the days I'm not in class. I also and putting in the couch to 5k in that run.

I am also signed up for the warrior dash on August 11th, so I am training for that as well. Something that I really want to accomplish. There are a bunch of us doing it so it seems like its gunna be a fun event.

Im in. I need to lose the last 9lbs of baby weight and then ideally another 20.

I started my diet a few weeks ago and am down 10lbs from my start day so I just want to continue that and add back in my kickboxing and start my personal training soon.

I am in....

My long term goal is to lose 25-30 lbs.
In 75 days I will say 15-20lbs is reasonable.

Diet: I am trying to adopt a clean eating diet because I feel if I just "diet" then when its over I will just revert back to my poor eating habits. And I think its important for my whole family to be eating better/healthier.

Exercise: I go to the gym - mainly do treadmill, bike, eliptical 3x a week but because I go after the kids are asleep, some weeks arent soo good if Dh has to work later or something comes up. So I am going to try to incorporate home workouts as well at least for the days I can't amke it to the gym so that I am working out 4x a week.

I'm in!!
I still have 16 pounds to get back to my PP weight....and I'd like to lose 5-10 more on top of that...so 21-26 pounds in total. But for me its also about inches lost...not just the number on the scale.
I joined the gym almost 2 weeks ago so I'll be going there alot from now until I get into that monokini LOL

I follow the Eat Clean Diet and track on MFP. If anyone wants to friend me on MFP i'm ClascyParra on there Chat Icon

Goal: I'm not really looking to loose. Just eat healthier and excersise more!

Diet Regimen: Clean eating. More fruits, veg and protein. Drink less wine and eat less sweets. Portion control!

Workout: Yoga and other gym classes. Try new things! I'm also going to start the couch to 5k.


I ate like crap and drank way to much this weekend. We have a wedding in California the end of April and one here in the city Memorial Day weekend. Just want to feel a bit healthierChat Icon

Count me in, I've been doing WW but the last two weeks have not been good. I need to lose 25 pounds and REALLY want to achieve this by Memorial Day. PLan to continue WW , add my running back in and working out at the gym. Need to REALISTICALLY for my body work out 5-6 days a week to accomplish this. I have been trying to lose this weight for 4 years since birth of DS and this time, I NEED to do it!!! Day 1- begins Monday morning!

I am in!! I do not really need to lose any wieght, just tone up and get my body strong again after birthing two kids!! I have been going to the gym every day for an hour at work since last week. I need to eat cleaner and reduce my carbs. I am considered pre-diabetic at this point and need to eat healthier over all.

I definitely want to! I have been trying to eat healthier and stick to a real workout regimen since the end of January and have lost about 9 lbs so far. I would like to lose another 10, realistically, 15 ideally but I don't know if I'll get there. Right now I'm happy to be under 150lbs but I think I was happiest below 140.

Current weight: 149lbs

Eating: Not doing a diet, per se, but just making healthy substitutions. I've started doing green monster smoothies for breakfast and afternoon snack, and lunches are all veggies + protein of some kind, whether beans, quinoa, etc. Dinner has been normal (typically lean protein, veg and a starch..this is what DH and I already ate) so I probably could cut out that starch, but haven't done it yet.

Exercise: Goal to exercise 5-6 days per week. 3x week gym workout, mainly cardio, probably elliptical. 3x per week Kinect YourShape workout, focused on body-weight/light weight exercises at a high heart-rate cardio pace.

Doing pretty well so far. Some pants are loose already which is exciting!

Yesterday I weighed in and I was at the 20 lb. loss point! This is the lowest weight I have been since my freshman year of college!!!

Day 1- not so bad...stayed within my points, started C25K program and did a warm-up ane one circuit of a Jillian Michaels DVD.

I'm in! I started walking on the boardwalk with my baby today in Long Beach and it felt really good. I'm headed to the gym tomorrow too! I have 25-30 pounds of baby weight to lose.
