Furniture Stores on Rt 110 Farmingdale
I need a dining room set and my mother keeps telling me to spend a day on Rt 110 looking at all the stores there. Does anyone know what stores there are? I've seen Raymour, Macys, Bobs and Ashley - but I've been to all of those in different locations. Are there other stores in that area too?

My sister bought a dinette from Tiffany's furniture on 110, she has no complaints and it was a great price!

There are a ton of stores different from what you listed. I can't remember any stores right now. I would definitely spend a day going from store to store. We bought our bedroom furniture from a store on Rt 110 & almost got our livingroom furniture as well but I ended up liking another set better last minute from fortunoff.

I wasn't impressed on 110. We wound up going to Ashley in Carle Place. They had the SAME stuff, but were willing to work with price. The one on 110 were like - well this is the price and that's it.

I had a similar experience except with Raymour. At 110, the guy was very pushy and wasn't really willing to work with us. We decided to try the Carle Place store and the woman we worked with did not push AT ALL. She showed us a sectional that I nixed at the 110 store b/c I didn't like the color and she showed me that the lighting of the store was making the color look off. The 110 guy didn't do that even after I commented on the color. Needless to say we bought all of our furniture at the Carle Place store.
Plus their layout was much better and they had more furniture on display b/c it's a bigger store.

I love 110 for furniture shopping! I'm not a fan of R&F or Bob's though.
Ethan Allen is there; Bassett, Thomasville, etc.

we bought two great chairs at Raymour on 110 - one recliner and one comfy living room chair. Prices were very good.
There's one individual shop in the same shopping center as Jennifer Convertables. They are crooks! Stay away.

Re: Furniture Stores on Rt 110 Farmingdale
Thanks everyone. I went on Saturday and was able to go to The Place, R&F, Ashley, Bob's and Roma. So far The Place had the best selection. But I still want to try Thomasville and few others. Right now I'm just trying to choose the style. Once I do that I'll try and hit other locations for price negotiation.

I am on the hunt for a new dinette set for my eat-in kitchen, and I went to Rte 110 yesterday.
All Wood Furniture Discount Center (1729 Broadhollow Rd. (Rte 110) and Top Dinette & Furniture (2263 Rte 110) both seemed to have good selections and were the best I saw on pricing.
But not sure if they had as much for "formal dining rooms." I do think you can get better pricing (and negotiate more, for sure!) with the independents versus the chain stores.

Thank you! I went back out last night and found the perfect set at Thomasville. Too bad it was completely out of my price range! Third round will be to some of the independents, like you said!

I personally would stay away from "the Place" they are not a good company to deal with. You can read reviews online and I believe I read a few bad things on here about them.

Bring the Thomasville itme numbers to Rt100 home furnishings. they order brand name furniture and get it for cheaper then you would in the store. they have a pretty big showroom too.
