7yo DS is reading Edgar Allan Poe
DS turned 7 last week, and he's currently reading the complete unabridged collection of Edgar Allan Poe stories to himself for his bedtime stories..... 
*I* haven't even read all of Poe's stories yet....

Smart kid! Does he like comic books/graphic novels? A graphic collection of Poe's most popular stories was published a few years ago. I loved reading them as a fun supplement to the original stories when I was studying Poe a few years back.

He does read some teenage level comic books once in a while. Not sure about graphic novels yet. I wouldn't be surprised if he did.
I'll definitely keep this in mind when he finishes reading the book.
