8-10 month olds...only eating bottles
Does anyones 8-10 month old really only eat bottles. My son drinks 4 bottles a day (averages between 26-30 ounces a day usually) and will eat puffs and cheerios, but thats it....I am lucky if he eats 1/4 jar of baby food....I try to give him other foods, and he just won't swallow them....I talked to the ped about it, and he's not concerned...
Just wanted to see if anyone else was going through this. Thanks!
ETA: He is 9 1/2 months

Re: 8-10 month olds...only eating bottles
My son doesn't eat that little of solids but he definitely doesn't eat as much as other moms posted on a thread earlier this week.
He still drinks probably about 6 bottles a day, probably 32-34oz.
At his 9 month this week the ped. talked about stopping his night feedings and working on increasing solids.
Have you tried yogurt? DS really likes yogurt. He also prefers table foods or the chunkier baby food.

Re: 8-10 month olds...only eating bottles
My DD IS almost 10 months and is going through a spurt where she does not want any more of jarred foods. She does absolutely love the yobaby yogurt and will eat that, but only that!
I have found that she likes to be able to feed herself now instead of being fed..lol. So I have been making her sweet potato, bananas, carrots and cutting them up so that she can feed herself. I also got the Earth's Best whole grain organic waffles and cut into pieces and she eats them herself. I also recently had her try the gerber pasta pickups ravioli (chicken and carrot) and cut them into 4's and she ate the entire container in 1 sitting.
It's just about trying out what she prefers.
