I had my first official OB appointment and sono today. My office has you come in right away to confirm pregnancy with a urine test and give you vitamins etc, which I did at 5 weeks. But today we had a sono and saw the heartbeat! 
I'm 7 weeks 6 days and the baby was measuring 8 weeks, so everything looked good! :)

My doctor doesn't see you until 8 weeks. I did have blood work to confirm but that was done by my best friend who s a PA.

Had my first sono on Friday and baby is measuring right on schedule! HB was 146! I had high BP at my appt. so they referred me to a high risk doctor in the practice. I also get to take the glucose test early due to my dad being a diabetic. But, I'm on a weeklong course of antibiotics which can give a false reading on labwork so I'll have to wait until I'm done to get the b/w done and the 1 hour.

I have my first OB appt next week but I have been going to the RE so i have had a sono 2 weeks ago. Im really excited to go to my OB. I just found out my SIL is 6 weeks ahead of me and i hope I dont bump into her in the office!! We havent told anyone yet.

Haha! If like 3/17 or 3/19. I think st Patrick's day would be a fun birthday!! 3/19 because its my dads birthday

Is anyone dying to announce their pregnancy?! Are you all waiting until 12 weeks? Only close friends and family know.. Also some co workers because if god forbid anything happens at work, I think they should know. I'm thinking I might make the "big announcement" at 10 weeks.. Thoughts?!

Only our immediate families and a couple of my closest friends know right now. I'm not really in a huge rush to announce but probably will sometime shortly after my first appointment which is at 9 weeks. With my son (my first) I was dieing to tell everyone but was also scared to bc it took us 21 months to conceive andi was terrified something would happen. I held out telling anyone besides close family and friends until 11 weeks I think. I just couldn't keep it in anymore lol

I just want to tell everyone! I'm so excited lol. I think ten weeks should be good for me! I'm happy you said you waited 11 and now 9, now I feel much better! hehe
