2013 OFFICIAL LIF HOLIDAY DONATION THREAD- Updated with THANK YOU wishes from the parents

Some of the parents have asked me to share their gratitude with everyone who donated, so I will be posting them here.

Dear LIF:
I just want to thank you again for putting all of that together and for your kindness and generosity. And if you could please let the people that donated know how grateful my husband and I are. Without all of you Christmas morning would be very disappointing for my kids. I am blessed that we have a roof over our heads and our health, but now I get to see my kids light up on Christmas as they should. I hope by next year I will be in a better place financially and will be able to be on the contributing end of this wonderful and amazing gift you have given to so many kids and families. I won't ever forget it and I will continue to pay it forward in whatever way I can. Thank you xoxo. Merry Christmas and God bless.

I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the Christmas you all made possible for my family. I explained to my children that Santa was having a tough time this year and Christmas wouldn't be the same but to my surprise that was not the case. The love and generosity that was shown is unreal. ****** Well everyone, it's pretty much a wrap for this year! I can't believe we were able to do so much! Seventeen local children now have presents to open on Christmas because of you guys! Thank you to all who participated, and to 2BadSoSad and MsSissy who helped out on here. I love that this community does this every year and I feel incredibly blessed to be a part of it. Here is the list of children who we are looking to help this holiday season. Children will be added until December, so keep checking back.

I've asked the parents of the children to be as specific as possible about the child's holiday wishes, so that's why you see some very specific items and some that are more general. If you see a child you would like to purchase an item for, respond on the thread and you will receive an FM from me within a few hours with further information.

You can drop off to me at my house in Lindenhurst, have your item shipped to me, or we can arrange to meet.

All gifts must be received by me by December 11.
