LIW girls
has anyone from LIW ever had that thought of "hmmm I wonder if this couple is still together.."?
The thought crossed my mind today when I overheard that two couples I know have decided to split up, and I had this feeling of shock. I was like "omg I can't believe that they are actually getting divorced!"... and it just had me wondering if anyone on LIW did as well.
Don't get me wrong, I would hope that all of the '13 and '14 girls that I planned with for months and months are still happily married. Just knowing the crazy divorce rates now, it is such a weird feeling to know that there are possibly a good number of couples who "didn't make it" :(

I'm a 2013 bride and I know of quite a few who aren'f with their spouses. Sad but life happens!

I'm an '11 bride as well, but haven't heard of any from our year. Hope those who are divorced are at least happy now

I was supposed to be an '09 bride, wedding got cancelled 11 days before though. But I can't believe the amount of '09-'10 girls who are already divorced. Very sad.

I am an 09' bride and in the process of getting divorced. While it is not how I thought my life would have played out I am anything but sad about it.

I was a 2010 bride and was divorced but it was a good thing, definitely not sad I was also a 2015 bride and am now very happily married!

I guess I should not be shocked..but surprised that people married less than 2 years are already divorced.
I think some people get very caught up in the wedding and not: 1. The marriage, 2. Picking the right person.
Not saying this is everyone who gets divorced. But I think it is a factor in a lot of divorces, in general.
Take the woman who posted recently about asking what a good marriage was. She didn't know that a controlling and mentally abusive husband was NOT the norm. (No flame on her at all). She really thought that's how most marriages were.
My DH is going to be the best man at a wedding next year and he said to me its the first wedding he will be in that he does not believe the bride and groom will make it. And we are in NO position to say anything. And we wont.....
