Central Park show 7-11.
It's 0-11 if you look at the low map for NYC.
New City is 9-12.
My kids have Friday off already - not looking forward to a 4 day weekend.

i didn't think we were going to get away from this winter with just one big snow storm. I have been waiting for this one.
Bring it on, and then winter better go crawl under a huge asss rock and not show its face until like end of December.

I'm so excited for my daughter to be stuck in the house driving us all nuts and bored out of her mind so she can lose a nice warm day in May where we could have been outside doing things.

I don't think we'eve ever ended up getting the days in May in all of the years my DD has been in school. (she's in 4th) We usually end up with the Monday and nothing else. I don't even bother counting on May, it just never happens. lol

Hofstra26, you're right! I almost find it funny that they have it on the calendar and people get their hopes up. My daughter is in 5th and we have never had it off.

We've had it off since she's been in K. She's in 2nd now. We never had it taken away.
But we also used to have more than 2 snow days built in.
This year is the first year we only have 2 built in.

GOOD! Let it snow all through the night so I can have an excuse to call into work... rather than all day so my dumb ass still goes to work, doesn't get out early, and takes like 3 years to get home. 
ETA: DD is in daycare so I haven't been affected with school days off yet. But that sucks about losing the warm days! I'd be annoyed, too.

3 years ago we had Thursday and Friday off! It was great!!!
This year we have used our 3 snow days. But, we also have a Superintendent Conference day (no school for students), but somehow I think that counts as a day of instruction, so hopefully we don't lose a day from Spring Break. If we do, I won't be sending my DD in anyway!

When is this supposed to get bad? I have a dr appointment I set up for my son months ago and its 2pm on Wednesday. The dr. is booked 7 months in advance. I am not sure if I should wait before calling to see if they can reschedule and squeeze me in elsewhere.

It’s about 50 here, and the snow finally melted after being here for 4 months. There was even sunshine! The sun doesn’t come out very often from December-February. I’m very happy about the sunshine, but I also know that it means that light is coming for a long time over summer (we get light from about 4 AM to 10 PM). That’s a bit too much for me.
I’ll duck with you!
