9-10 weeks and symptoms decreasing?

I think I may win the nervous nell title!! Sorry!

I am a bit nervous. Around Tuesday, I woke up and noticed that my breasts did not feel as sore and heavy as they were. They were tender when pushed but not horrible. A few days later and they still aren't sore when I wake up. The soreness comes and goes but it's not terrible.

I also feel like my breasts aren't as full as they were. I still have a highway of blue lines all over but they seem to be back to their old size.

I am still starving, I am still peeing and I get some dry heaving (haven't thrown anything up in a few days).

Should I be nervous or is it normal? We don't go back until the 10th of November and I don't want to be THAT patient that bothers my dr. with every fear and concern. Chat Icon

Re: 9-10 weeks and symptoms decreasing?

I was exhausted the whole first tri but by 10wks people were telling me how much more alert I looked. By 10 weeks I really was feeling MUCH more back to myself. At 12wks I was on a cruise and felt absolutely fine!

I say it's normal! Chat Icon

It's totally normal. Symptoms do not indicate anything except how your body is handling the extra hormones. Your body sounds like it's starting to handle this point's hormones more successfully -- lucky you!!!

Worrying itself is not good for you, so TRY TRY TRY as hard as it is to breathe deep and just be excited!!!

Re: 9-10 weeks and symptoms decreasing?

Same thing happened to me and I'd say I can deff compete with u for the worrywart award. I felt horrible until the 10th week and then all the symptoms started to subside and of course instead of counting my blessings I freaked out! I walked around for 2 weeks pinching my nipples just to see if they're still sore (still do it here and there by the way). At 12 weeks it was like I resurrected and actually felt totally human, which got me even more nervous... I would say this is all part of the bliss of parenting. I mean if this worrying is suppose to last for another 18 years or so might as well get good practice now!

I felt the same way. I was "one of those" that called my doctor. He told me to come in for a sono. Sure enough everything was fine. You should feel comfortable to call your gyno with anything that is concerning you.

That happened to me too. I was 10 or 11 weeks, and it was like a light switch clocked off. I stopped being tired, and I wasn't sick at all. After having a small panic attack, I ran to my midwife's office. Baby as fine. Apparently it's ok if symptoms subside at the end of the first tri.

so glad to hear this is normal. i'm 9 weeks and basically have no symptoms, but i haven't had many the whole time. i don't go back to the dr until nov 16 (which is 6 weeks after my last appt due to a business trip) and i'm freaking out! i need to relax!

My m/s totally went away at 10 weeks! I think its pretty normal for symptoms to start decreasing at the end of the 1st tri.
