Unfortunately I knew this was going to happen. My aunt is the head nurse at the SICO at St. Vincent's and was taking care of him and she told me that he was not looking good.

this makes me so mad!!! someone who survived WWII succumbing to an attack from a pitbull w/ a wreckless owner! may he rest in peace!

you know what gets me--is that the guy whose dogs it was and the lawyer said the original assault charges were a "gross overstatement of the law"
guess what buddy---if your SON was visciously attacked and lost a limb cause someone else's dogs attacked him--you'd feel 100% different and DEMAND that they be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
