How old is what you are wearing today?
everything i am wearing was purchased in 2006 with the exception of my boots, Aldo, circa 2004
what about you?
are you getting use out of older clothing? or do you buy new each year?

I happen to get use out of older clothing.......but it certainly doesnt stop me in the least for adding in 2006 
And I wont be ashamed to admit, I have some clothes I wear for quite a few years..........I guess it has to do with the quality, I have sweaters and pants that dont look a month old and they're years!

Same here...totally agree about the quality having something to do with it.
The pants I'm wearing are part of a suit I bought in 2002...the sweater, 2005...the buttondown, summer '04...the t-strap shoes, '05.

The sweater set I have on is from my college days in 1999! The shoes are from last year and my skirt is from 2000 or 2001.
Wow - I guess I need to go through my closet but nothing I have on looks very dated / worn...
ETA: I was just excited that my skirt fit today because for a while it didn't!!!

My sweater I just bought this weekend at the Gap (thanks to whoever clued us into the HUGE sale going on)
The pants are about a year old, your basic black, and my shoes are a few weeks old, black, closed toe, kitten heel.

Pants are over a year old. Maybe two years old.
Top is about 2 years old.
Boots are new this fall.
I def. get use out of my older clothing.(Just not everyday, like today!)
Most of my work stuff is dry clean only, so I take care of them. I mix old with new, cheap with expensive...whatever works.
I have a "conversion weekend" twice a year where I change my wardrobe from summer and winter clothing. Sometimes I forget that I bought stuff at the end of the season last year and it's like getting new clothes all over again!

I actually wore a skirt today that I have had since college...I love it..the thing never wrinkles. It is a gray tweed and I wore it with black knee high boots and a black turtleneck. The turtleneck and boots are kind of old too.

I wear some older clothing...maybe the top I wore today was about 2 years old; I keep my stuff in good condition and tend to dress fairly classic; I definitely add in new things, but I definitely get nice use out of my stuff.

My pants are from the summer
My shirt is about 2 years old
Shoes are old too about 2 years
I definately get use out of items that I buy. I have a pair of pants I bought in 2001 & they are still in great shape! Of course, I try to buy some universal items every season. I also seem to buy a new pair of shoes with each season!

I am actually wearing my favorite sweater (2 years old) and my favorite jeans (1 and half years old) today. My boots are about a month old. The shirt under my sweater is also a favorite and is from 2 and a half years ago.
