A Baby Story on TLC

Has anyone watched this show...I DVR'd about 20 episodes and just watched every single one!!!!

and, of course, I cried at the same part of each episode...the part where the doc first places the baby in the mother's and father's arms!!!!!

I want the same experience with DH!!!!!

Love that show but I avoid it now because it just serves as a painful reminder of what I'm going through with TTC.

And you know, with my first, it was nothing like the ideallyic tears that flow on that show. I was strapped down on a cold, metallic operating table, my arms literally tied down to the table, crying in fear as the doctors prepped everything, and when they finally showed me my daughter, I vomited all over the table, the doctor and my husband Chat Icon

Going through what I have been going through, I do not watch this show as it's pure torture for me. It would not be good for my current mental state

Re: A Baby Story on TLC

I had DD vaginally- and I STILL didn't have "A Baby Story" birth. I was so friggin' tired from pushing that I just wanted EVERYONE (including my new daughter Chat Icon ) to go away and leave me alone......

Later that night we had our "Baby Story" time......

Bringing Home Baby gives me panic attacks....Chat Icon

Re: A Baby Story on TLC

I love both of these shows, but I too imagined that perfect moment where they place DD on your chest and you hold her, but I too was strapped down and they briefly held her in front of me & then whisked her away Chat Icon
