A bad mommy moment...

I feel so incredibly guilty. I was shopping at Toys R us for my neice and really only planned to be in the store for about 5 miinutes. I decide to use the stroller rather than the cart. So I plop DD in the stroller and into the store we go. I didn't bother to take her jacket off because we were only running in for a few minutes. Well I didn't strap her in well enough and her coat is satin and she started to slide ride out of her stroller and almost slid right onto the floor. A woman noticed this (and I didn't), told me and I picked DD up as fast as I could and I just felt so embarrassed and an unfit mother. DD was completely fine. It totally doesn't help that that I look like I'm 15 even though I'm in my 30's! I always feel like I'm being judged. I always strap DD in everything and I just feel like kicking myself in the *** about this. So ladies, make sure your little ones and strapped in securely!

Awww don't feel bad...

We've all been there. I once put DS in his booster seat and forgot to strap him in. He fell to the floor and landed on his back. He cried and was so upset from the crying that he threw up. He finally calmed down and luckily there was no bump. I felt like **** for days...

Aww don't worryChat Icon. My DH did something similar. He put DD in the stroller and didn't buckle her in cause of her coat & just closed the tray. He said he looked down and she sliding out of the bottom. She was fine. He panicked. I must admit I laughed at him when he told meChat Icon
