A Candle Question
i have NO clue where this should be posted...i'm hoping it's okay i chose here....
we have a curio cabinet. we had a candle in there and apparently, it gets too hot and the top got all melty like (this is a GEL candle i'm referring to). It's all goopy and melty - kinda like a melted slurpee on the top.
would putting the candle in the fridge firm it up - or should we just dump out the 'runny' parts and deal with the cleanup?? (we'd like to keep the candle itself)
thank you for reading and for any replies!!!!

Re: A Candle Question
I have put the wax ones that melt at the top of one of those holders in the freezer and it stayed. With the gel whatever form it made might harden like that if you put it in. Hope this helps.

i was going to do that - either the fridge or freezer and was petrified i'd come home to a shattered candle (it's not a tiny candle - it's about 12 inches tall) - so that would be a LOT of glass and gel to clean up!
maybe i can try the bottom shelf of the fridge and see if that works....
